TPP - Help guide for completing the E Learning

Modified on Wed, 18 Sep, 2024 at 12:03 PM

Please try using Chrome as your web browser, clear your cache and do it in an incognito window, this generally resolves the issue.
We recommend that you use a personal device, if available, once you have tried the other solutions, as your department’s firewall can also create these issues.

Enable cookies in your browser

Two cookies are used by this site. The essential one is the session cookie, usually called Totara Session. You must allow this cookie into your browser to provide continuity and maintain your login from page to page. When you log out or close the browser this cookie is destroyed (in your browser and on the server).

The other cookie is purely for convenience, usually called something like TOTARAID. It just remembers your username within the browser. This means when you return to this site the username field on the login page will be already filled out for you. It is safe to refuse this cookie - you will just have to retype your username every time you log in.

When completing each module you need to exit it correctly in order for your progress to be saved, and the SCORM package to register this. You must click "exit course/exit module" to go back to the course page rather than hitting the backspace key, closing the browser tab or exiting the window. If you do not exit the module properly it may not capture full completion if you shut down the activities, information, or video mid-way through the progress.
This could later become a barrier to obtaining your certificate and badge.

If you need support with the above, please get in touch with your departmental IT service for assistance as they may have restrictions on your device.

Furthermore, if you are leaving your device for a period of time mid-way through a module please exit correctly, as noted above, so that the session does not time out and lose your progress.

Completing the modules in order is advised but not mandatory, as this would minimise technical difficulties.

If you notice that your completed modules continue not to show up on your course completion tab throughout the day, we suggest logging out of the GCC and then back in again. The updated completion should then show up on your landing and course page.

Alternatively, you may log out of your account, then log back in and re-attempt the module.

We advise sending a screenshot of your knowledge drop quiz result for the completed module in the event that it has not been marked complete to assist you further.

If you require an accessible version of the e-learning for your reasonable adjustment, please get in touch.

Please contact gcftpp-busops@cabinetoffice.gov.uk for further assistance.
