CMTA - How to Book your Welcome Call

Modified on Fri, 6 Sep, 2024 at 3:29 PM

Once you have completed your CMTA - 360 diagnostic, you be able to book your Welcome Call with one of our Learning and Development Managers. Your Welcome Call will talk you through your learning journey and what to expect over the coming months. You will also meet some fellow learners and get familiar with Microsoft Teams.

1. Book your Welcome Call

All sessions will be self-bookable to allow you the flexibility to plan your own learning schedule.

To book your welcome session:

  • Log into the Government Commercial College

  • Select the “My Bookings” tab

  • Select “Booking Manager”

  • Select “Book now” next to “Welcome Session” and select a date and time that suits you

  • You will then receive a calendar invite with joining details (please note, it may take a few hours for this to come through)

  • Please select a session that you are confident you are able to attend. You can self-amend your sessions to ensure they take place at a date/time that works for you; please ensure any amendments are made with sufficient notice of 20 working days or more.  Changes made with less than 20 working days notice will result in your organisation incurring a late cancellation charge.

2. Test your Microsoft Teams Access

Our training sessions are delivered on Microsoft Teams. If you are unfamiliar with Microsoft Teams, please see this guide for advice on how to use the application. If you experience issues with joining a session, please contact cmta-team@cabinetoffice.gov.uk

It takes approximately 6 months for Practitioners and 8 months for Experts to complete the training sessions and get to the assessment. We recommend starting to plan time in your calendars early to keep the momentum going and get the best from your learning.

Kind regards
