ADC - Sitting your Technical Interview

When you receive your ADC Reminder Email, 2 working days prior to your ADC, the attached timetable will indicate if you are expected to sit the Technical Interview.

However, in advance of this you can determine from your first set of scores whether you will be required to sit the Technical Interview.

Commercial ADCs (CL, ACS, CS or SCS)

You may carry your Technical Interview score from your previous ADC, so long as you completed it:

• Within the last 2 years.

• At the same assessment level (or below) as your upcoming assessment (with CL being the lowest level, then ACS, then CS, then SCS as the highest).

You also need to have achieved a certain score depending on your assessment level:

• CL or ACS - A score of 3 (or above) in one of the Technical attributes.

• CS - A score of 3 (or above) in two of the Technical attributes.

• SCS - A score of 3 (or above) in three of the Technical attributes.

For example, if you previously attended a CS level ADC in the last 2 years, achieved a score of 3 in three of the Technical attributes and are now attending an ADC at ACS level, then you do not need to sit your Technical interview.

Contract Management ADCs (Practitioner or Expert)

You may carry your Technical Interview score from your previous ADC, so long as you completed it:

• Within the last 2 years.

• At the same assessment level (or below) as your upcoming assessment (with Practitioner being the lower level than Expert).

You also need to have achieved a certain score depending on your assessment level:

• Practitioner -

  • A minimum score of 16 or more in total across the technical attributes.

  • A minimum score of 3 across a minimum of four individual technical attributes.

  • A minimum score of 2 on any single technical attribute.

• Expert - 

  • A minimum score of 17 or more in total across the technical attributes.

  • A minimum score of 3 across a minimum of five individual technical attributes.

  • A minimum score of 2 on any single technical attribute.
